“My worst fear is someone invading my home at night, while I’m sleeping” says Tammy. She says she used to stash knives and a pistols under her pillow and around the bedroom for protection.

She's an independent businesswoman who sells TASER® products the way her mother's generation sold Avon and Tupperware, (you know what I’m talking about).
Tammy says she always had a natural interest in self defense products. She loved the idea of TASER® products , which would allow her to stop an attacker from across the room without getting physical.
“A lot of people, especially women, need time to get comfortable with a unique product like the Taser before they'll consider buying one.”
The TASER® Product party is the perfect vehicle to make that happen.
Company officials say they're now selling TASER® Produsts in 43 countries and more than 12,500 police agencies in the U.S. are either using or testing their weapons. With its weapons dominant in law enforcement, TASER® International Inc. is turning its attention back to the civilian market.
It launched the TASER®C2 in August.
Though it packs the same electric power, the TASER®C2 is smaller than the larger gun-like personal stun guns TASER® International developed years ago, and its sleek exterior makes it look more like an electric razor than a weapon.
They're legal in every state with the exception of New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Michigan, Wisconsin, Hawaii, and Washington D.C.
Tammy says many of her women customers buy the TASER®C2 because of its size. It is convenient enough to carry in their purse. They also like the fact that it comes in several colors. When it comes to choosing, she says, a lot of women want them in pink.
Unlike other weapons, Taser forces its customers to register their TASER®C2 and submit to a criminal background check before giving them a code to turn on their weapons.
“Many of my customers feel better carrying a TASER® product instead of a traditional firearm, and feel just as safe because they know it’ll do the same job, and that’s keep them safe.” Most people are not carrying defensive weapons for the purpose of killing an attacker, they just want to be safe wherever and whenever they go.
